Jackie began thinking of letters that usually went with the letter S. She then wrote, "H?" on the paper.
She smiled as she read the note. "I've never gone skidooing, and I used to do figure skating, but I haven't actually skated since like grade 3. Now I'd fall on my butt for sure, and ice is more painful than sand is. I like snowmobiling though," she wrote. She'd much rather fall off a horse and fall on the sand than fall on ice.

"Gah! she has got the word now," he thought amusedly. His smile was bright as he updated the paper. He tossed her a quick wink as he did so. He knew the word would just be too obvious now; he was looking forward to her reaction as it dawned upon her.

"Never?!" he wrote on the other sheet, a very surprised look covering his face. "Well it is wicked fun. You should seriously consider it," he scribed quickly. "Snowboarding eh. me too?" he wrote next, "My parents own a house up by some mountains in Quebec, I go up there every year for christmas break, too much fun."

Jackie couldn't help but laugh when she saw where the H went. "T? R? Y?" she wrote on the paper.
"Yeah, my uncle has some skidoos and he said he'll take me, we never have free time at the same time though. And, I said snowMOBILING, not boarding. I went snowboarding once with my friend and I couldn't stand on the stupid board. I went through the training, and then just watched her for the rest of the day," Jackie wrote.
