Evo’s Dawn devastated our world; it in itself wasn’t an event that distressed us. No, on that day most of us hardly noticed the difference. It wasn’t till our children started to manifest that we had to find a reason. Things only got worse from there, our homes were ransacked, our children were taken, and our lives were all flipped on their heads.

Children of Evo’s Dawn only have one place to go, the schools of Shadowside. It’s there that they can try and piece together lives in the face of an oppressive and ignorant world. As the world turns ever deeper into the Era of Evo’s Dawn, we see events of the world wrapping ever closer to this school, housing the new generation of Evo’s, Magi, and technical protégés. Here at Shadowside, the new generation, may be the only guiding light for the new world.

Dancing in The Hall -{Open}- how.fun.

You want to know a fun thing about going to school at Bunghardt? If you skip, no one cares. The school's authority went down the drain years ago, so teachers and faculty basically gave up on trying to catch kids that were skipping. Forest was always one of those kids. She was the one that spray painted the lockers for the hell of it.

This, however, was not one of those days.

The girl, dressed in a black skirt with white and black striped leggings, and a white t-shirt with Jack Skellington on it. Oh yeah, people just loved coming up and meeting her(note the sarcasm.) She had her iPod headphones in her ears, currently listening to London Beckoned Songs about Money by Machines by Panic! At the Disco. Her head was bobbing to the music and she was humming the melody outloud with her eyes closed. She didn't really care if she ran into something, it wouldn't be the first time.

Forest opened up her eyes and looked around. It was a temptation to do it. Music in her ears, no one around, why not? She shrugged her petite shoulders and started dancing around in circles. Her red hair was flying around her face, and her eyes were once again closed. Truthfully, she didn't care who seen her. It would add to her reputation at this school. She merely listened to her music and kept dancing around. All she had to remember was that if she ran into the principal..run.

Jared had ripped the clear plastic packaging off of the case of the DVD, and he was throwing it in the trash can when another person walked into the room. A lot of people had switched to Bunghardt Academy suddenly, and so he had been expecting more roommates. He hadn't been expecting them both to come in within minutes of each other though.

He looked up as the other guy spoke. "Jared Hickey," he said.

Jackie leaned back against the couch and shifted her weight a bit, until she was more comfortable. She then just watched the movie that she had seen many times before. No matter how many times she saw a movie she liked, she never seemed to get sick of them The same was true for songs and food. Other things, like the arrangement of her bedroom, her laptop, and her phone, she got sick of very quickly and it was annoying.

((Lol, that's alright. At least you're back now. :) I haven't been very good at checking to see if there have been any replies on here. It's supposed to email me, but it hasn't? Lol. Oh well, now that I know you're officially here I'll come on more.))

The door opened and a tall, dark-haired boy walked in. He was around 6'4" and extremely pale. He had striking features that made hime look like a model or a movie-star. He was wearing tight black skinnies and a candystriped hoodie. Hunter didn't bother taking off his shoes. He walked over to his bed and dropped down the one bag he was carrying. It looked like a regulr overnight bag. Not really like something someone would bring when moving into a dorm.

Finally, he turned to his roomate and looked at him for a moment before speaking.
"I'm Hunter. Hunter Silvanus." Normally he would have extended his hand to shake, but he was really not in such a great mood.

Hunter sat down, yawning slightly. It had been a long day and he was at least somewhat tired. Not that it ever made a whole lot of difference to him whether he was tired or not. Everything just sort of stayed the same. It was all just static. Not in an electrical staticy way though. It was more in a staying the same constantly kind of way.

He smiled at Jackie and pressed 'play' on the remote control. The movie started playing and Hunter sat back to enjoy it. He loved movies. They made his world go round. People often said he had a certain 'talent' but they also knew it would never be seen. Since the accident most movie companies were refusing even to let him near the studio, let alone audition. Jeremy was working hard to get Hunter a chance to prove himself and that he was stable enough for the film industry.

He absently put his hand in the bowl and drew out a handful of popcorn, slowly eating it piece by piece.

(Yipes.. Sorry I've been gone. School is starting up and I moved.. I've been getting a ton of work.. Anyways.. I'm officially here now.)

Welcome to Westford Academy.
Westford is pretty much your average academy, with the different social groups. They don't exactly have cliques, but you'll still be judged and talked about as if there were cliques.
You know the ones that I'm talking about.

So, be careful what you say, who you hang out with, and how you act. Cause you never know what could be said or done about you just because of your actions, no matter how big or small they are.

Three Wishes
[image]

Three Wishes is a steampunk fantasy game based in a world of Onmyoudou and alchemy, of the Four Guardians of the World, of mecha-polo alongside Taoist magicians: of technology and sorcery, of Old versus New.

The world of Four Gods Heaven and Earth is in turmoil, three hundred years since the last time the Beast Gods called forth their avatars and priestesses. The Pillar of the World, Taiitsukun, has been missing for a generation and more, and in her stead, the mysterious Empress-Regent has risen to unite the four great nations into one single land. In the name of peace and harmony, the Empress-Regent's laws and the Imperial Tao regulate lives to the extent that even the worship of the Beast Gods is denied to those who once adored them and cherished their rule over their ancient lands.

The Empire has kept people safe for decades - children grow strong, technology advances, wars are obsolete, the trains run on time. There is a place for everyone, and everyone falls neatly into place. But without the spiritual strength of their followers and without the guidance of Taiitsukun, the gods are losing their powers and the world is slowly falling to pieces, sinking into unreality. The Empire encourages people to live, but some are beginning to wonder what they are living for.

In desperation, the pooled powers of the gods have sent several copies of the Four Gods Heaven and Earth into the modern world of 2008: a call to anyone who can come to channel their powers, save the world, weaken the hold of the Empress-Regent and her manipulations of the four lands. The Enlightened of the Empire seek to stop any such disruption of the Imperial Balance, foreseeing only folly in any attempt to break with the Unity.

Will you open the book? Will you summon the gods? Will you break the world with Unity, or will you mend it with the gods' balance?

`Apology Neglected

Time, turns its head, blue skies fall.
There’s more, hid neath hopeful lies,
And I still remember.

Why do I, feel all alone here,
Lost in life’s repetition,
Is it so hard, to say I’m sorry,
Or am I that weak?

Predictions have been made for centuries as to when the tribulation will occur. It's a pity no one ever listened. When it was discovered that the Mayan calender ended in 2012 it stirred havoc and chaos amidst the minds of true believers. That assumption was wrong. It was nothing but a process. Every religion has marked the end of man kind in some way or another. In different ways, but all have the same conclusion. Whether you're a Buddhist or a Baptist one thing is very clear. Spirituality can make you or break you. It's all a matter of what you decide to do with it, and how you choose to carry that out. You never know. The conclusion you draw might just surprise you.

Everything was fine in San Fransisco until the Christmas of 2012. I can't exactly say I never believed in creatures of the night or spiritual awakenings, but I can say I never found those things to be a threat until now. When the first snow in four years fell onto the golden gate bridge I felt something stirring inside me. The next day News reporters all over the world were stating the claims of missing persons. How can so many people go missing in one night? Where did they go? It was disturbing and strange, and a part of me felt like it wasn't anywhere near over yet. The night following that rumors of vampires started to spread. The, "I saw this." or "This is what I heard." Traveled all the way up and down the state line. I thought it was just assumption. The imagination of wayward minds finding their own conclusion to the events and the anomaly of missing people. I was wrong.

By March the vampires had made their siege. They had made their existence known to all of us. The news stopped the redundant play on the missing citizens and started and active rebuttal to the awakening of the leeches that plague our streets. A small number of them are good, the rest are terrible and cruel. They run in packs. Whether of

three, or thirty. One vampire is very rarely by themselves. They attack much like raptors. With a set offensive and defensive players, and those who work alone simply lure people to them like a spider to a fly. There was soon set a curfew for our state to follow. We were to end our day at sunset and begin our day at dawn.

The vampires weren't the worst of our problems.

When the vampires had finally established aesthetic rules to their hunting. A new breed decided to make their presence known. They were part man and part animal. Canny shape shifters who bore an unrealistic loathe to the locusts who were draining our blood. Humans like me implored them, but we soon realized they were loose canons and most of them did not hold the goal to save us from extinction. There was an old feud to be settled and we had nothing to do with it. We were simply in the way.

This marks human defeat. Whether we're slaves to a vampire, like myself. Or we've crossed paths with a werewolf. We'll never be the same. I write for lack of nothing better to do, until my mistress grows weary with hunger and I am once again subjected to the sharp point of her teeth.

Today I am quite sure it is September. Summer has ended and the werewolves are now in control, but only for the moment. There are plots to break their shields of defense.

What I find strange when I turn on the news; alone in the chamber for the evening. Is that now- the well groomed man has stopped talking of vampires, doggish men, and disappearances. He has now started talking of godly events. Every other day someone is being interviewed. Someone who has experienced something of divine grace or something of a religious multitude.

I now know one thing is for certain. Nothing is impossible.

Words that I’ve said from the start,
‘I’ve been, cold’, soft dreams, they fade in,
While reality, stained by faux tears, grow old,
I mend my heart,

In hopes, that you’ll be good
Now, blind, a faint old rhyme.
